Artist note: The inspiration for this piece was the ceremonial robes that Wendy drew Cutter and Leetah wearing at the beginning of "Kings of the Broken Wheel". I always really liked them, and wanted to do something similar... but I didn't think I should do straight-up copies of them. So for Easysinger and Blacksnake, I came up with a similar tiered design, and thought of it as conceptually being about Sky and Earth (while the canon set is, I think, about Summer and Fall).
