This weather forecast is based on real life weather modeling, provided by the 2013 Farmers' Almanac (based on Zone 1/Northeast United States). Some additional environmental details are added as well for local flavor. If there's more you'd like to see noted, or if you want a specific weather event at a specific time, please ask for it, and we’ll update the weather chart accordingly!

SUMMARY: Winter will be colder and drier than normal, with below-normal snowfall. The coldest periods will be from Midwinter 2511 through early Month 01, and in mid-January and early, mid- and late Month 02. The snowiest periods will be in mid-Month 11 to late Month 12. Spring will be slightly warmer than normal, with near-normal temperatures. Rainfall will be below normal in the northern stretches of the territory, but above normal south of the Holt. Summer will be drier than normal (but not a drought but higher-than-normal fire threat conditions), with near-normal temperatures. The hottest periods will come in early Month 07 through mid Month 08. Autumn will be warmer and drier than normal (although again -- not dry enough to create drought conditions).

MONTH 01
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: daytime high 22 degrees Fahrenheit/-5.5556 Celsius
Days 1–3: Snow showers, bitterly cold; all local waterways have frozen over.
Days 4–6: Skies clear, but weather remains bitterly cold.
Days 7–11: Snow, increasing to snow flurries; very cold.
Days 12–15: A mild spell arrives -- cold lessens, although weather remains freezing.
Days 16–18: Snow, then sunny; still cold.
Days 19–22: More snow but warming -- some freezing rain on the 22nd.
Days 23–24: Snow in the northern part of the territory, but rain in the southern region around the Rushwater; some creeks and rivers begin to rise.
Days 25–28: Rainy and mild across the territory; flooding in some lower areas possible.
Days 29–31: Snow showers across the territory, with the temperature dipping down again.

MONTH 02
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: below average -- daytime high 15 degrees Fahrenheit/-4.4444 Celsius
Days 1–7: Snowy periods, very cold.
Days 8–10: Snow showers, milder.
Days 11–16: Snow showers, very cold.
Days 17–21: Sunny, turning milder.
Days 22–28: Snowstorm, then sunny; cold. Candlefish spawning begins in the Braided River estuaries.

MONTH 03
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: slightly above average -- daytime high 37 degrees Fahrenheit/2.7778 Celsius
Days 1–4: Snow flurries and sprinkles, turning milder.
Days 5–8: Snow, then sunny but cold.
Days 9–14: Warming begins; rainy periods, snow melts and waters begin to rise all around the territory. River & lake ice begins to thaw; water is high everywhere.
Days 15–19: The last snowstorm of the season arrives, but turns into a rainstorm during the night of the 15th. Rainy, then turns sunny.
Days 20–25: Showers, warm. The elves begin to look for the return of the Elder Salmon; New Green Bliss is held. Wolf pups born to the pack’s alpha female.
Days 26–31: Scattered showers interspersed by unsettled skies. Windy. First Elder Salmon arrive spotted and intense fishing begins.

MONTH 04
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: slightly above average -- daytime high 49 degrees Fahrenheit/9.4444 Celsius
Days 1–7: Sunny, turning quite warm.
Days 8–11: Showers, then sunny, nice.
Days 12–16: Some rain in the area of the territory, but rain showers miss the Holt. Unsettled sky, then clear and warm.
Days 17–22: Thunderstorms, then sunny, cool.
Days 23–30: Scattered showers, then sunny but cool.

MONTH 05
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: average -- daytime high 55 degrees Fahrenheit/12.778 Celsius
Days 1–8: Showers, then sunny and warm.
Days 9–14: Rainy periods, cool.
Days 15–21: Showers, then sunny, cool.
Days 22–28: Scattered showers, seasonable.
Days 29–31: Sunny, growing very warm.

MONTH 06
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: average -- daytime high 65 degrees Fahrenheit/18.333 Celsius
Days 1–4: Thunderstorms, then sunny but cold. Passionfruit berries begin to come into season.
Days 5–9: Unsettled skies; more thunderstorms but warm.
Days 10–21: Scattered showers, cooler. Blood Salmon migration begins, mainly on the Rushwater River and moving up to the Bounty. Midsummer (Summer solstice) is the 21st.
Days 22–25: Sunny, warm with clear skies. Humpback Salmon migration begins, mainly on the Holt River and moving up to the Bounty.
Days 26–30: Cooler, with scattered thunderstorms.

MONTH 07
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: average -- daytime high 71 degrees Fahrenheit/21.667 Celsius
Days 1–2: Sunny, clear skies and hot.
Days 3–7: Thunderstorms, then sunny and warm.
Days 8–12: Scattered thunderstorms, hot and humid. Raspberry season begins.
Days 13–16: Sunny and warm.
Days 17–23: Scattered thunderstorms, then turning cool. Blueberry (huckleberry) season begins.
Days 24–31: A couple of thunderstorms, then warm and clear.

MONTH 08
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: cooler than normal -- daytime high 65 degrees Fahrenheit/18.333 Celsius
Days 1–5: Some showers, then fair but cool. Summer blackberry season begins in earnest.
Days 6–8: Sunny, hot.
Days 9–12: Thunderstorms, unsettled skies. Leather-leaf berry season begins.
Days 13–18: Strong thunderstorms, hot.
Days 19–25: Sunny but cool. Silver Salmon spawning begins in the creeks and streams off of the Braided River.
Days 26–31: Unsettled skies, followed by rain showers; then sunny but cool.

MONTH 09

Days 1–3: Sunny, very warm.
Days 4–8: Thunderstorms, then sunny and cool.
Days 9–17: Fair and hot.
Days 18–23: Fair. Thunderstorms, then sunny and cool.
Days 24–25: Sunny and very warm.
Days 26–30: Scattered rain showers, then sunny, cool.

MONTH 10

Days 1–5: Windy, some rain showers sweep in from the coast.
Days 6–11: Sunny, warm.
Days 12–18: Scattered rainstorms, mild.

MONTH 11

Days 1–5: Showers and flurries, then sunny and growing chilly.
Days 6–14: Rain to snow, then sunny, cold.
Days 15–22: Stormy -- more rain mixed with snow, sometimes freezing rain. Risk of falling trees heightens with the season’s first freeze.
Days 23–25: Wet snow, cold. Chum Salmon begin spawning in the Holt and Braided Rivers.
Days 26–30: Wet and snowy, with unsettled skies. Then clear during the last days of the month.

MONTH 12

Days 1–3: Some snow, but generally clear and cold.
Day 4: High winds and the beginnings of a storm.
Days 5-7: Snowstorm, with significant accumulations possible, then clear and cold.
Days 8–14: Snowy periods, mild.
Days 15–20: Snow showers, unsettled skies.
Days 21–25: Snow. Showery then clearing for Midwinter (Winter solstice is the 22nd); cold. Freezing begins on local streams, creeks, ponds, lakes and rivers.
Days 26–29: Snow showers, cold.
Days 28–31: Ice and snow, very cold.
