This is such a vibrant story! I love reading each part! This one is great, and the preserver-reunion is a wonderful highlight. It's great to see the history that they carry in their heads, even if their vocabulary is simple it's a good reminder of how impressive their immortality is! It's great to see Kestrel and Fadestar still testing the latter's flight skills, and the interactions of those on foot are really lively! I still really enjoy seeing the 'youngsters' through Brightwood's eyes. :)

All I can say is.... SQUEEEAAAL, YAY YAY YAY! I'm with Ingrid here, I can't wait to see how this story evolves (even though we basically know the ending XD) Joan, Holly, you're writing this perfectly and I couldn't wait for the next scene while reading onwards. This is so awesome!

What an ending! The excitement, tension and confusion among our dear elves was palpable and I loved the interaction between the preserves. So great to see them already guessing at who might be in the cocoons - and the stunned reactions at finding out about the High One were perfect!
