I cannot imagine how it must feel like for Raindrop to have such short memory and to be dependent on others to help her remember. Your story captured the conflict between Raindrop's inner wolf and her elfish self very well.

Memory has always been a thing that's fascinated me when it comes to the Elfquest-elves, and this story really touches on what makes the elves' way to remembering and forgetting so special. Especially the difference between elves with a lot of wolf-blood and does with less. Heart-warming story :)

Oh it would drive me crazy to be Raindrop and live in the Now so much you forget things!! It's so great that the tribe understands her and gently stirs her memories. I can tell Songsent is and will be so very important to her!!

I enjoyed this story! It inspired me to read through Raindrop's bio again, and go through the timeline around this story, which is great to really get in touch with Raindrop. It's so interesting to have her here, already so old, and in contact with a few elves such as Lacewing, that I knew fairly well already. There's a really deep sense of time that comes from this, and I enjoyed that almost as much as reading about the sparks of a relationship between Songsent and Raindrop here. :)
