Such a nice family-and-tribe-moment both! I adore these slice of life stories that let us know of the current inner workings of the elves and their relationships. It's so great to see how far they've all come over the years!

This is a lovely accompaniment to Peggy's image! The story contains a lot of fondness between the elves, and it's nice to see the different characters interacting with each other and with the past. The tone seems to always remain warm and kind, and gives a very peaceful feeling to the Now.

First of all: how great that you developed a story around a pic of mine! Wonderful! And it is so great that you not simply described how it came that Windburn and Newt went fishing together. No, you thought up a deep connection between those two: Strand. Very neat idea!
And yes, now I am wondering too, what Newt would have turned out to be if he grew up with Strand instead of GW and CF.

Never in a million seasons would I picture Honey willingly go on a trip with Greenweave and Cloudfern, much less have a good time!! How far she has come! It was so nice to remember that she and Greenweave are actually first cousins and that they can bond with their little uncle from listening to stories about the parents and grandparents! And Windburn being wistful for Strand and his relationship with his father was SO touching!! What a personal trip! Bravo!
