Love the details here! Raven trying his best to tend to his wound, while thinking about how Cloudfern could have done it better. I feel like I've gotten to know Raven better by reading this, and that I better understand what was going through his head before this.

It is very intersting to see Raven's charater unfolding here. I really like to see how self-aware he is and that he can admit mistakes and that, although he does have a tendency to wallow in his guilt, he does not do it overly and knows a way out/how to distract himself with something useful. I am sooooo looking forward to him meeting his daughter Windsong and Cloudfern again. It sceams drama!! ;)
I also liked to learn so much about knapping and cord "spinning" from you here. Very educational.

There's nothing like being alone on an island to make you think about the family left behind! Great job! Hope he doesn't go nuts!! LOL

Raven's thoughts at the beginning of this part are a great introduction to why the wrapped character weren't found earlier. Great exposition! I really love the wilderness survival stories, and this is a great example of one from the RTH world. I really like the look into his logical mind too, following his plans to get back, especially against the emotions that follow his departure from the mainland. It's a good balance you have there!
