Ah well, those times when there was no healer in the tribe... long since gone. ;) I really wonder now if Willow would have been asked to help in such a case...
But back to the story. I really liked the end since it was so typical Honey. It was also great to see that everyone helped out even when not related. The tribe feels a bit more like a big family.

It's particularly great here to see how a new mother in the tribe will receive support even from others who aren't in her immediate family. It really emphasizes the "one big family" nature of the tribe. It's also nice to see Honey at a time when it wasn't so hard for her to accept others' help.

That's a really sweet story idea! I really like the way that Cider arrives - I think it makes sense considering the living conditions of the elves, as they're all so close. The story has a great feeling of friendship and strength. I love the interplay between the women. You've written in Honey so well, where I can see some aspects of her self-doubt creep in but love that in this supportive environment they can be passed over.

I like the older stories of the tribe with familiar faces and those who have since passed. LOVE "Bugfluff"! Realistic portrayal of having a sick toddler (had 2 sick toddlers at the same time once!! OMG!)
