I wonder if Willow can heal someone's mind as well as body.. I know all the hormones from nursing puts you in a very good mood, but I wonder if Willow can put a balm to a mind set. Hmmm...

Nicely done, Heidi. Honey's way of thinking is illustrated quite nicely here. I like how you get a feeling of how she expects the worse of Willow and how much it seems to be what she expects from her due to the reason, that she might act like that. Honey is a very complex and inquiring character this way.
I also like how much she fights with her own insecurety and how she tries to mask it behind her behaviour. it's something that feels true to a lot of people who act like that.
A nice ending though, with Honey being able to see past her hurt and I like it how it's that what catches Willow off-guard. I also like the way Honey realizes how much she wants to help Cinder. willow might have healed something broken inside her by accident here but she did.

Oh, I love this story! Thank you, Heidi. I think it really highlights Honey's insecurities and how they can wreak havoc with her mentally and with others relationally. I especially like how this works as a transition point for her, post-wrapping - her realization about how she is glad to be alive, and what she sees in herself regarding the relationship with Willow. :) Excellent writing.
