A nice little slice-of-life scene! I like how you had an event within the tribe affect Honey and the cub's life, though they're not the direct participants in said event. It really shows how close the tribe is and how changes in one elf's life creates ripples in the others'.

I don't remember how this developed, but it was a fun little fluff piece... still showing, though, how the tribe really is connected. I think the best part was showing that other side of Honey, the likable side.

This is the second time, I think, we've seen Honey and Nightstorm connecting as friends of a sort, and I'm really glad about that. It feels to me like both characters need expanding, in terms of their relationships with others. I've always thought of both of them as "loners" to a degree, so it's good to know that they've bonded together. And yes, I liked that the arrival of the kids didn't annoy them, really, even though they'd anticipated a quieter evening.

I do enjoy the developing bound between Nightstorm and Honey here. It's always good to see Honey interact with someone outside her close family and like this contrast of personalties yet how kindred in spirit they can be.
It#s a nice little fluff story and shoes us a kind and flexible side of Honey we almost forgot, I feel. She is likable here.
The kids are very nicely done as well. All worked up and eager to do something.
Of course I'm also bias towards the mentioning of Moonwing ;)

Thank you for that, too Lyn. I like seeing the owl having a place in the tribe. ^^

You can tell Honey has raised a cub before as she took all the cubs' distracting presence in relative stride. Love how she and Nightstorm gracefully shift into catching mice for the owlet!
