Hysterical - I was laughing and had to explain to my husband what was so funny. I loved the brief tale within a tale. Thanks for this dose of humor!

I'm late on this, but thank you so much for including Newt into this story and using one of my pictures. It came out so funny and I really enjoyed this one. And thanks for being so patient with me when you approached me.
I do like all the interaction going on here. As much in the current time as in the past. One-Leg is quite the unique character and I love him for that. The scene with Flash was adorable and I can imagine he left Starskimmer and Newt VERY suspicious about this brew Newt made. :D
Thanks again! I always get a kick out of seeing you use my silly art to write such fun (or serious) stories.

I think my favourite new mental image is now "His whiskers swished to and fro..." what a fantastic way to illustrate that! Just perfect. Great way to tie to fabulous pictures together in an unlikely way.

Great idea for the Comic Relief contest! I was definitely chuckling through most of this one. As Peggy already said, I like how you were able to take two seemingly unrelated pictures and fit them together in one story. Also, the end makes me want to know what happens immediately following the story...
I've now added "Tadpole's toes" to my list of favorite One-Leg sayings ;)

Newt, the drug brewer!!! :D :D
So cool to see how you put a story together from images that are not connected in any way when looked at. Very imaginative! And indeed, OL is braver than I would have been. ;)
