"I watched you watching them," is probably my favorite line in the poem. The whole thing makes me wish for One-Leg's sake, that Doeskin had survived, and that she could still be there w/ him. The way he loved her was so touching.

Aaaand now you made me sad. It was a lovely poem, I can imagine One-leg thinking this as he rests in a tree looking up on a bright sparkling night. Truly, lovely.

I decided to read a poem and I picked a sad one. This is well written but awfully sad.

Very sweet. I always loved the relationship between One-Leg and Doeskin and it's somehow touching to see that he remembers her when he looks at the stars.

Very pretty and sweet. One-Leg can be such a softy and it's clear how much he cared for and loved Doeskin. There is true sentimental feel about this. She might be gone but somehow she's still there and left something of her within him. Just lovely!

Beautiful, and really touching. I love seeing the sentimental side of One-Leg here. It's a really lovely poem.

Short and sweet. I love the calm that I felt while reading this. I even read it a few times just so that I could stay involved with the peaceful feeling it gave me of watching the stars. Though it is sad as well it didn't make me feel down at all. Very sweet.

I love's so sad and pretty at the same time. Creative names for the constellations, too - I found myself imagining what they looked like as I read through them.

This is still one of the saddest love stories here at RTH. And one of my favourites. :)
It is interesting to see the names the elves have given to some stars/ collections of stars. Again, the native american background is obvious.
