I LOVE the ending! :) Love love love! So fitting for a cub to say. And such a great observation from her! :) This was fantastic.

How adorable. I really like how you portrait the family here and especially Glow. She seems to be such a vivid little whirlwind. The walk here made me a bit nostalgic for the time I was a kid and my parents would take us out into nature to tier us out.
The three here do seem like a typical, happy, young family with an adorable, healthy kid to keep them busy.
I really liked Glow's determination here to. She'd put something in her mind and was set to do it - and by herself. Heh and working in a garden for roughly a half year I feel with Glow when it comes to pull on some tough plants.

A very nice look at the family. You caught them wonderfully I think.

Ally, I cannot emphazise enough how lovely this story is!! It is so heart-warming and precious. I just love the family interaction here and I am so glad that you were able to show all readers how you (and me) see and feel this little family.

Oh, this was adorable! I love the combination of wild-crazy-sweet that Glow provides. Beautiful idea for a story, and the interactions in it are just precious. This family is lovely!

Such a wonderful little family piece where each elf has their own distinct personality and reactions... Especially reactions to the whirlwind that is Glow. What a little handful!

I really loved the family interaction here. :) Glow is such a typical little girl, and I love how Rainpace tries to strike a balance between careful watching, and allowing a cub to be a little adventurous.

We have chicory growing all over the place where I live, and it's one of my favorite wildflowers. :) I haven't ever tried to pick any, or pull it up, but it's possible that chicory is just harder to do that with, than some other wild plants (or as some people might call them, "weeds"), and that it has tougher stems. I remember from my days as a kid, helping to weed the front yard, that some plants come up easily and some just don't, and there never seemed to be much rhyme or reason to it, at least to a little kid.

Glow is the new Crackle XD. Muddy little whirlwind of a child, I guess the tribe just can't do without one. Her excitement is so adorable, and her little chatter to herself ("I have been walking FOREVER" - I can just hear it in a seven year old's voice) even though I do feel for her poor parents... but what can you expect with Chicory for a mom, goes with the territory!
(It also hasn't occurred to me that it can be so tough to pull a flower out, but then when you think of how tiny elf children are... interesting detail on their world!)
