I like the overall calm and quite flow of this one. Greenweave here has a very gentle, mellow air to him. Patient and open but never pushing. He's ... inviting without pressure. It's easy to see why people would enjoy his quite company. He offers advice and guidance to those willing to slow down and listen.
Fadestar seems to calm down in his presence as well and it has an atmosphere of time standing still in the best way. I also like the sense of... yes they know each other but there are still things undiscovered in the other. The sensing towards the others limits and borders when it comes to a topic. Especially with Fadestar trying to see judge how far she can go and wants to go with the Dreamflight topic, clearly noticing that it's nothing she should touch in a moment like this. Same with Greenweave gently teasing and exploring his limits with her.
The net metaphor was also a nice touch and I like how in the end Fadestar's plans changed in favour of learning something new from and maybe about a tribes mate. The last sentence is one that reminded me... yes Fadestar would know that, wouldn't she?

Sweet to see these two together! I really think that with their personalities they could have a sweet, quiet friendship. The net's a good metaphor for the tribe, and I like how Fadestar can touch on old wounds and not cause too much hurt for Greenweave. I'll be interested to see if more stories feature these two in the future!

I really do like the way this one starts, with Fadestar drawn over to Greenweave, even though what he's doing isn't necessarily usually her thing, and even though he isn't usually one of the elves in her orbit. It emphasizes to me the"neighborly" quality of the tribe -- like the best kind of "small town" where everyone really does know everyone (of course), and there is value to be found in anyone's company.

This is a very sweet every-day life story. I really like to see Greenweave and Fadestar together, a pairing we have not seen much before. I also do enjoy your writing style a lot, somehow you always manage to transfer so much warmth and tenderness with it. Makes me feel coozy and content. So, thanks for the read!
