They know where it hurts the most, eh?! ;) I really like how this story concludes, that is does not need many words to set things right again. It shows more than anything else, how close those two are. Comics are so hard to do, but you did a great job here, Heidi, both with the pacing and the setting of the panels. |

Angie Cousins New! Entered: 2014-06-30 | Lovely, powerful graphics to go with a moving story, chock full of emotion and near-heartbreak! |

And I really liked the way you chose such a quiet, emotion-heavy topic for a graphic story. It's quite different from the others we've seen, and it goes to show that graphic stories aren't just good at conveying action -- they can be good for emotion as well. |

Since this is the story comment I'll focus on the story aspect here ;) It might sound mean but... man I enjoy Willow wolfing out here. It makes her look like jerk but I kinda enjoy it that it shows couples have these moments when they just get into fights and misunderstandings and that the important part is that they can find a way to get over it in the end. It gives the relationship a bit more depth then just holding hands and being all into each other all the time. I love how real Willow feels here. Knowing exactly that you are just mean and made someone cry but are to stubborn to admit it to yourself at the moment and then regretting it and fearing you messed it up for good. It makes Willow one of my favorites since she's flawed but not beyond seeing her own mistakes. It's very clear that a relationship like this is new to her but also that it's good for her. Nice look into a more troubled moment between them and how they made a start to work on that. |
