Who needs words or sendings when you can communicate with a look? It's clear these two lovers have mastered the art of subtle communication! I want more Goldspice! Where is she hiding lately? ;)

Such a sweet "slice of life" story! I like how we got a look at Moss and Goldspice as a couple - all the romantic relationships in the tribe are different from one another and you captured something special about these two with this tale!

I really like how you included almost (?) all tribe members in this story. You created such a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. This is especially refreshing since the story takes place after the FO encounter in the winter.
One can almost feel the companionship, harmony and contentment.

Lovely. I like how much it illustrates us not only a normal day at the holt with all the work going on but also the relationship between Moss and Goldspice. As Holly I love how it all is done without a single line of dialog and how the old couple here seems to really have learned communicating through looks, gestures and just knowing the other so well. I like the dynamic between them and all the more I really appreciate all the elves being taken in and filling the background. The story has something very content and peaceful.

I always like reflective pieces like this, and happy to see it centered on Goldspice. I feel like we don't see enough of her, and especially her with Moss! Great job, too, on including so many elves in the background.

Such a beautiful scene/concept. It's fantastic to see this published and illustrated already! :) I just love the rich scene you paint and the way you mention so many of the tribes-members in the "background". Moss and Goldspice are such an awesome couple and it's fantastic to see their relationship so in depth like this. I think it's really a warm feeling to see them together and reacting quietly to the new events. It really has a complete feel to it. Lovely work!

I like the conceit here that the whole scene takes place without dialogue, including the moments of communication between the lovemates. That's the best part, showing how in tune they are. It fits the artwork nicely.
