The Punishment of Preserver really fit the crime!! Simply brilliant! Those bugs annoy me just reading about them in passing! Poor Rill!!

And I'm glad Dreamflight's jealousy gave in to Envy and happiness! And since there's only truth in sending, I hope there WILL be a "WHEN I get my wings"!! ;D

Yayyyy!!! It's "over!" The Fierce Ones are gone (for now). Fantastic work seeing this whole storyline through... So much written, so much detail and coordination! It has been a beautiful, wonderful ride. I'm grateful for the less tense conclusion, and for the story that comes after this!

Whitney, you went to great length to shoulder something so big for the conclusion of this storyline.
It's been a long ride and you deserve all the praise you got. It was a nice conclusion. The way all seems to wind down but there is still this sense of change and tension remains. I did enjoy the part where Windburn meets up with Snowfall and the others in particular since there we get a strong taste of that in dialog and the scene with One-Leg, Notch and Kestrel where we're shown it. (The idea of the watchtowers is neat!)
Also I really liked the scene with Rill and his dad, mostly because I really would like to see a bit more of this side of Suddendusk... or anything of him, really, I tend to forget that he's there ^^'
The scene with Dreamflight hearing about Fadestar's magic was also very cool. I liked that it went back to her dream but that we can see here very clearly, that she dose mature a bit. Yes the idea stings that someone else gets what you want but I like seeing her growing out of her unapologetic self-pity to being able to say congratulation and mean it from the bottom of her heart.
The moment with Brightwood, Blacksnake and Farscout gave some things to think about regarding how different people regard their rides. I actually went in and thought about it. Do they just butcher the horse because or is it a thing they probably value? But then again they seemed to leave enough good meat... strange.
Glad that in the end everyone is coming back home safely ^^

Ten parts!! It's been a long ride, but I've loved seeing all the new developments in this storyline. Kudos to you, Whitney, for all of your hard work on this story. My favorite scenes in this part were the one where Rill's punishment is revealed (and what a punishment it is XD), and the scene with Kestrel/One Leg/Notch (some bias on my part? Perhaps!). But really, all the scenes fit nicely together. A long but entertaining read!

What a final to this part in our tribe's history! Loved everything about this, pretty much. I felt as if we got to see a huge part of the tribe - some parts of it that I yet haven't had the time to dig into the backstory of - which was a delight! And the excitment of it all, the challenges and solutions, were all equally excellent! Brilliant job!

I join in in passing around congratulations! I am very glad you kept going, Whit and all you others who helped writing this very big story. We all know it was a beast at times. But you mastered it skillfully!
I really liked the end that left a bitter aftertaste instead of relief. I am happy for the elves for finally being able to go home again, but Windburn's sending makes it clear that this is just the beginning of change to come. It is not over, just the start of a life in fear of being discovered by humans. How sad...

Hooray! Congratulations for getting this monster done. :) My favorite part here is definitely Suddendusk's reaction to Rill's bad behavior -- I like that Suddendusk realizes that Rill is merely following in the footsteps of his own wild youth... but I especially love the call-back to a punishment he himself suffered. Using the Preservers that way is a great idea!

This part brings such a sense of relief to the series. It definitely has an air of finality to it, for this season at least. I like the way you start it with the Fierce Ones leaving, and each successive scene just seems to add to the wrap up.

I love, love, love, Suddendusk and Rill's reunion. The preserver torture is an idea that is so fantastic, so useful, and so fitting. Brilliant.

The hints of One-Leg and Notch's long arguments are really fantastic - they set the scene, let you know how they've been passing the time, and give a lot of info to the readers. Really nicely done.

I think this was my favourite descriptive line: "felt a shiver skitter down her spine like a running mouse" Lovely wordplay with that one.

It's been really enjoyable to read this series through to this point. :)
