To imagine Thornbow would play tricks... I would not have before I read this little story here. But thinking about it, maybe it does suit him, those little teasing jokes (nothing worth of Notch or Foxtail).

It's always good to get a look inside elves' head from time to time, especially when there's been a lot of changes in their lives. It was also good to get to see Thornbow and Dreamflight interact in a situation that had nothing to do with Honey. Also, Thief is adorable.

Hah, I really like the sort of misdirection here, with the misunderstanding between Dreamflight and Thornbow (niece and uncle) that's explained by the wolf's mischievousness. And I like how naturally he earns his name at the end, and the bond is created.

This was so enjoyable to read. I love the little wolf cub, so playful (and hungry)! Thank you for sharing how the name came to be.

Awwww. That's how he came to his name. This was sweet. I like the little pup here and the clear personalty he shows in the end. A nice moment between Dreamflight and Thornbow as well. I have the feeling we didn't see them interact all that often.
Also like the idea with Dreamflight trading some fish for a new coat. It gives us a nice feel of connection in the tribe And wow Thornbow carries some regrets with him himself, it sounds like a lot when you break it down like this.
All the better he found his new wolf friend in such a lighthearted scene.
