I like the fact that Quick Fang circulates the names of her wolf-friends - not everyone is good with coming up with names and remembering them; it makes perfect sense that she'd do so. And I love that this new cub put a spanner in the works of her plan!

Thank you all for your nice comments!

The story wrote itself somehow. In Quick-Fang's Character Sheet was written that she only uses the 4 names of her first wolffriends over and over again in a cycle. But with this wolffriend it was different, because he lived up to the name "Growler" very well. But yeah, she is a bit rigid in that mindset, so it was fun to have a wolf somehow naming himself with his behaviour!

Great look at Quick Fang's naming of her wolf-bonds! I wonder if the first four wolves she had were uniquely named and it's cycled after that? Your story makes me want to know more about how her mind works, and how having a growly little wolf-cub around ends up for Quick Fang!

I really like the glimpse into Quick Fang's mind, here -- how she is set in her patterns, to the point of "knowing" what her next wolf-friend's name "should" be... but how the wolf cub itself makes her have to choose differently. That's a great dynamic. :)

Haha, well, things not always happen as one planned them, eh?! I liked to see how Growler became Growler and what made QF change her mind.

It's good to see that Quick Fang's stubbornness has its limits :) and neat to read about how quickly she bonds :)

Hehe. I like that you show us how Quick Fang is so caught up in her routine that even changing a name only happens within her limited choice. Good for her that it fit the cub so well.

I am always amazed by reader Members taking the challange to write something. I was quite hesitant to write on my own when I joined, overwhelmed by all the characters and getting them right. SO It's always great to see someone without an own elf in to write something.

Lovely little snapshot out of Quick Fang's life.
