Oooh, I loved this. Especially the image of little Glow pulling her mama's head back w/ her warm hands. :) This is SO fun, and so in step with Glow's age and development. And Chicory's willingness to get up was good, too! Such a good mama.

The fact that Chicory is so personally interested in "creepy-crawlies" makes this a very special interaction -- but I think the best thing about it is that it shows how even for the long-lived elves, everything in their environment can be experienced anew, as it were, when sharing it with a cub for whom it really is new.

What a nice family moment! Chicory is one dedicated mother to not only get up early despite a bit of a hangover, as well as being cheerful when Glow drags her out into the noise and light. And capturing tiny frog (without harming them of course) is a very fond childhood memory of mine, so this story brought out nostalgia in me.

That's a cute little moment. Poor Chicory, but as parent I guess hung-overs are no option. I am surprised her head didn't crack. We listened to a sound file of the peeper's chorus and it's LOUD! Much louder then such a little thing should be.
Love the mother daughter interaction. Chicory really i great here as mother who's showing her daughter a little more and Glow is adorable here.
I can see her jumping and skipping through the woods all to clear :)

Yaay, a mother/daughter moment! We need more of these!
Lovely little story. I could feel with Chicory being hung-over and all. And little curious Glow is very darling here. One can see that the apple did not fall far from the tree. ;)
