Somehow I often forget that Brighwood is a strong personality in her own right. And clashing with One-Leg like that ~ by sending rather than raised voices was interesting. I guess she's always up for a tumble in the furs too!

One-Leg is awesome. I love him. He's so good for a straight talk. I really like how he validates Brightwood while also sharing his own good sense. And I like how he has this conversation in a way that Brightwood isn't showing throat at the end.

Oooooh. The rock and the hard place talk it out. Interesting! I really love the forceful personalities and strong opinions out on full display but having it remain civil and respectful rather than spiral out of control in emotional fits. I really love how raw/shaken and fierce/protective Brightwood (Darkwood!!!!) can come across, and how One Leg can show the tender/dreamer side along with his rather crusty/colourful one. You really bring out many facets of both characters in a situation where it makes perfect sense. Nice work.

One-Leg at his best once again!
This issue was long overdue and I was looking forward to see how Brightwood fit into the word hunter team. You gave us some great dialogues and reasoning here. I completely understood both sides but personally I am more with One-Leg here (maybe I am a bit biased because I like him so much? ;) ). I liked him raising the question what the outcome of them meeting another elf tribe would be. Also great to see his opinion of Windburn here. Some criticism never hurts.
All in all: a fun to read!

This was great and definitely a much needed moment to be filled in! One-Leg really steals the show here - I love that cocky old badger :D. And while it's great to see both sides of the issue, I'm definitely more drawn towards his viewpoint. I especially loved how he talked about living without his leg - it's a good reminder to Brightwood that others have lived through trauma, too, and the most important thing is learning how to go on, how to live with it. It's understandable that she is still very caught up in it as it's so fresh for her but she will have to find out, too. I also liked the touch that she doesn't think too highly of her own niece - it emphasizes a bit that she is coming at this from a real outsider perspective because she doesn't know Beetle and Foxtail like One-Leg does, or at least that's the impression I got.

I found it really great that we were shown both sides of the issue here, and as they did, I think we can understand both of them, too :).

This was great! I do have to say it again. I flippin' love One-leg. Love his view on things and the hope and future he imagines. It's a good motivation for him to be so hopeful towards the humans. Also loved how he did counter Brightwood here. (The Darkwood comment was one of my favorites)
Also I do love One-Leg's POV here I also really like how Brightwood is portrait here. She dose have some valid points and it really is always a good reminder that unlike Farscout and Cloudfern she didn't have the years to process what had happened to her. I also do like the touch that she doesn't think too highly of her niece Beetle. It's a nice contrast.

The back and front of their reasoning was very interesting to read and I do like that they do come to a conclusion about each other's ideas and appropriated here and that both have a point and do settle it kinda on "We agree to disagree" and still respect each others opinion. Well and that they still obviously are agreeable on other points ;)
