This piece is so bittersweet and I love it, and it was titled perfectly. It really got me in those last couple of lines, great job! :)

The parallell between regrowth after a forest fire and this new Recognition was beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. Very touching!

I love the title. That Recognition a 2nd time is kind of a soul reunion. And I wonder... how much deeper might the connection be?

I really like the way you picked up on the characters' history, and how they Recognized again not long after losing a first child. Really nice look at what a repeat Recognition is like! How the experience doesn't get old, but brings joy every single time.

Even though this poem is short, there is no lack of emotion in it! I definitely got a sense of Summer's surprise at Recognizing again, her happiness at the realization that she will get to be a mother again, and, as Melanie said, perhaps some melancholy at the end. Lovely to read.

I actually wrote this in succh a short amount of time that it took a couple minute after I was done for the story of the poem to actually hit me emotionally! :) Hopefully that method of writing so fast helped impart some of the feeling of suddeness I associate with Recognition.
