Hehe cute story. I really liked the way you described Blacksnake's voice here, it really made the jabs seem pointed. And it's good that True Edge didn't have to make his own leathers in the end hehe, always fun to see talented characters struggle a bit with certain skills.

Heeeheeeheee! I'm beginning to think that Moss (and the others who provides clothes and leathers) often hears quite interesting stories. ;) I really loved the reversal of the original picture, with Blacksnake getting back at True Edge and enjoying every, single, leisurely moment of it! :D

Revenge is sweet indeed. Loved how smug Blacksnake was and how True Edge kept almost taking his anger out on Moss, but remembering himself at the last second.

I love this as a "sequel" to both the image, and Joanne's story! You can just tell that Blacksnake was totally saving up that memory to use at the first opportunity! :D

Haha, loved this exchange! Seeing True Edge cornered was hilarious even more so because he was nacked on top of this. I admit I felt a little sympathy, must have been a horrible moment for him... and there is even more to come at the Howl. I can imagine many tribe members will have lots of fun hearing the story of the Bull.

Heehee, I kind of felt bad for Moss being caught in the middle of the little rivalry between Blacksnake and True Edge. Very creative that you thought to do a sequel to the original image!

I love the way that you turned this around from the clue answer art - maybe anticipating that someone would come up with a story to the art. I had to read the first paragraph a couple of times to make sure I was reading it right. I love your description of True Edge at the beginning as a hawk with wings out, and how you carried the metaphor through the whole story. I could see True Edge and Blacksnake having this (friendly) alpha-male rivalry.

Melanie, it a pleasure and an honor! Someone actually suggested this plot to me -- I can't recall if it was Lyn or Rachel, but once I finally got started, it pretty much wrote itself. I don't know HOW True Edge got skinned out of his leathers, but I do want to sit down and here the first-hand telling of that tale from Windsong!

This made me smirk all the way through. Poor TrueEdge. Blacksnake enjoys this WAY too much *hehe*
I love this every day hunt stories and what has gone wrong. The elves sure would tell such a thing to entertain themselves over a long time (not to tell what a story like this will morph into over the years!)
The image of TrueEdge chases by a beast like this in rut is hilarious I have to admit even if I can see that it's only so because no one got seriously hurt.
Thanks for this Whitney it lifted my mood this morning :)
