The story and the image go really well together. I love the description you gave of Berryflop while Crest was 'tripping' it really brings the image to life.
It was nice to see the both of them in such a calm moment, it seems like they are few and far between.

Great to see Crest having a quiet moment - and I love how you've crafted the dreamberry experience! Very surreal.

Such a trippy story, as others have said before me. I do wonder if this effect of the berries were part of their original purpose (keeping the "starsong" in the elves) or if it's a unplanned side-effect. Either way, intersting imagery!

Cool. Anyone who has had a beer in a hot tub would so understand that this is possible. And quite the strange rush.

Wonderful use of language! "Whispery music of leaves and life" Wow!
Well, the elves - or some elves in particular - do have a thing for drugs and intoxication, don't they? Thanks, for pointing this out.

Really interesting idea done in a nice short way that packs a good punch! The illo really serves to bring this whole thing alive, too -- great use of art to enhance the storytelling.

The story makes the picture that much more interesting! :) I like, too, how Crest's trip "ended" once he realized he was on it. The ending had me laughing.

That was neat! The story and the picture go together well, and it's nice to see which effects dreamberries can have on an elf. I liked that this was a very visual story, concentrating on the atmosphere without much happening. Very creative!

That was an interesting trip. I thought the picture itself was already very creative but together with the story it's even more so. Love how you put them together and I think in this case both go together.
I agree with Raz. This was a very visual and all around "feel" story. Also liked the atmosphere here and to see a bit of the effect that dreamberries can have on an elf.
A very interesting story.

Woah, trippy! Interesting choice, here, and I must say the whole story was pretty intense in the sense-descriptions. Not what I expected at all, from just the illustration on its own, but they DO fit together perfectly in context.
