I could see this as animation! Especially when the brother laughs from outside so loud the drapes move from it! And the Preserver and Ash saying "AAAHHH!!" Nice job, classic wager!

I love how well this shows the difference in Elves and Preservers way of naming things. Preservers are so literal with there naming and stubbornly refuse to call it by any other name. I love it! Especially seeing Ash try so hard to sway the little guy to call him by his tribe name. It must have been so frustrating.

Snicker, Snort.

Good look at a small problem. I have a new fondness for this Preserver.

Hehe, well, I guess it was one of the first lessons in "You cannot always get what you want, no matter how stubborn you are!" for Ash. ;)
And big brothers can be so mean!!!
But I must admit while reading this I thought Ash much younger than 16, because it is a quite childish idea to try altering a Preserver's way to speak, isn't it?

I love that young Blacksnake is so annoyed over such a simple thing. Also, One-Leg was amusing, as usual. I could almost hear that belly laugh in my head.

I always love these stories that show Blacksnake when he was very young -- full of his characteristic self-confidence, but not always able to back that up with success. :) Axehand's teasing is really just the icing on the cake here.

Never mess with the preservers' way of things, you'll just end up with a headache of frustration XD Very funny, with gret build-up, each new comment from the preserver funnier than the next!

Okay this cracked me up. Love it. Love the ways Ash tries to get Muckabout saying his name and how Muckabout responses to his efforts with so much ... confident in his rightness.
The timing and the pacing was pure comedy gold. Love it Chris. Just love it.

Haha, hilarious! Poor Ash, though, he should probably have known that it's next to impossible to get the Preservers to speak properly. I especially loved Muckabout patting his head and telling him he would figure out things someday ^^.
