Aaaw, poor little Otter! Must have been hard to realize that the water is gone for a while during winter.
Very cute story idea!

*snicker* I'd say 'that'll teach Notch!' but nothing ever seems to! :P This was extremely adorable, and I love the way Starskimmer handled the situation! Poor little Otter... It didn't occur to me how boring the whitecold must've been for him a lot of the time without his swimming! ;)

That was a nice little read here :)
I really enjoyed the look on Starskimmer dealing with her cub. Notch sure must have given her a much harder task raising her two other cubs with all the ideas he planted in their heads... or use them for pranks ...

I like the ending especially. Starskimmer is a very fun mom. ^^

This is an awesome little moment in the Holt. I really love seeing Starskimmer as a mother in action, there is just something about it that warms my heart. It was a really great little piece of family life. Otter will just have to be patient.

:) This was a cute snapshot. Poor little Otter, I can really imagine that he had a lot of ... interesting experiences thanks to his big brother! I loved seeing more about Starskimmer as a mother, too, she's got such a warm but mischievous way to deal with her kids!

Starskimmer is a sweet mamma! :) I love the way in which she decides to help Otter feel a little better.

This is such a fun, lovely snapshot! And it also leaves me wondering... how many interesting incidents in little Otter's life have been set into notion of "Notch said..." ? Poor little cub, trying to grow up in the shadow of *that* big brother!

My favorite part of this was the look at how Starskimmer must deal with the interactions between her grown son and her young one -- and I love that she ends the episode with the intent to teach Notch a little lesson. ;-)

This was a really cute little story! I like how Otter is young enough here to be susceptible to his big brother's 'ideas.' It's also sweet to see how Starskimmer interacts with her son :)
