Good that the elves know when to call for Cloudfern and when to call for Willow!... My favorite line was the comfortable silence only had by those who had known each other for centuries! Love that!

I love that we get to see Cloudfern in his herbal-healer role here, and that he's interacting with Snowfall, which is something we hadn't seen so much of before. Cloudfern has a really great beside manner. :)

I really like these stories, where nothing particularly dramatic happens, and shows just a little piece of regular life is like within the tribe. I particularly like seeing this relationship between Cloudfern and Snowfall.

I'm sorry it took me so long to comment on this, Sophia, but as I already told you, I love it! I think those slice-of-life stories are great, and you did a wonderful job here! Like Mel said, it is impressive how much detail you worked into it. My favourite probably is that it shows clearly that while Snowfall is calm and reserved, it does not mean she's too serious. Great work - thank you again!

My guess is Beetle was making maple syrup. :) Just a guess. I, too, like that the herbal healers are still required!

Wonderful little insight into Holt life, this is. I really like that not everybody with a scatch runs to Willow and that the herbal healers are still needed.
I really like your hand with Cloudfern.

I was very curious about your first story Sofiaand I have to say, I'm impressed. For someone new to the holt I admire how many unique little characteristics you worked in here. It shows you really worked yourself into each character. Love all the little things you noted about the charcters and how it is such a nice Every day piece.
