Sometimes I wasn't sure whether Foxtail was talking about the wolf cubs or the elf cubs. I like it when stories do that! And yes, Foxtail will still be Foxtail ~ for a very long time, I expect! ;)

I really liked the *physical* companionship between these two. How easily and naturally they used touch in their everyday lives to express their friendship. :) Interesting thoughts Foxtail was expressing, about the "odd one out" and all that!

Always interesting to have a look at how Foxtail's maturing. And they asked good questions; I've always wondered what elves think of family resemblanse and why people look alike. Then again, that's part of life, so elves just accepting it makes very much sense.

I really enjoy how oblique a look at Foxtail this is. You do get the sense that she's just being genuine here, letting her thoughts go from one thing to another, and she doesn't come across as very guarded. But it still comes back to the fact that what's new for her -- aside from not having a mother any longer -- is that she is now a part of a sibling-pair, and for the next many years, how she and Cinder relate, and how they contrast, will continue being discovered as he grows older. It's an interesting thought, when compared to those other sibling pairs/trios whose outcomes are more apparent since everyone's grown.

I like how natural the conversation flow here from one topic into another. I often watch that with my own talks to friends that the topics keep shifting in what seems logical at time but in the end we loos track on how we got there.
I agree here with Mareike. I really like how you portraits the friendship here and how their differences are and the things they share make for an easy and close feel in this snippet.
I'd like to see what's going on in Foxtail here. It's hinted at and I really like this. Especially loved the last sentence. That Foxtail is still Foxtail. That was great.

I though the flow of this story was rather interesting. Going from the wolf cubs, to cubs and siblings of the tribe, and then coming around to cub sitting duties. I really enjoyed reading it and seeing their opinions on all the topics they discussed. I also found the concept of the odd one out really interesting, because in real life it can be like that too. Granted not in all cases but some. I really enjoyed reading this!

This was a really interesting glimpse in Foxtail's mind! I can't help but feel that she wasn't sure herself what she was getting at here ... It's certainly great to see her evolving and growing, and like Peggy, I really look forward to find out what's at the end of it! And it was neat to pitch it against Beetle's logical mind, it made for an interesting contrast. Really liked this look at their friendship!

It´s always nice to get a little, but never absolutely clear or complete, insight into the new development of Foxtail. I am really curious how the whole thing will turn out and what kind of elf she will be at the end of this process.
The friendly and tender description of their friendship here was lovely.

I really like this snippet! It's so neat to get glimpses into the elves lives, and thoughts. And at the end, *I* wanted to know what Foxtail was running to show Beetle!
