Great to see Greenweave with a wolffriend... even if this one died only recently. It is just a good reminder that he is used to have one, just choose not to at the moment.

I love how you depicted Greenwave's reasoning for taking his bond's pelt as a keepsake. It's a wolfrider practice that I think is rather sweet, but the sweetness of taking someone's skin isn't easy to describe. You did it very well! And the father-growing son moment was a great addition.

This is an amazing story. I love the look at two things. Greenweave and the death of his wolf, it can be so devastating for some elves, while for others its just a simple matter. I like seeing Greenweave's personal grieving process. I also really loved seeing Newt and Greenweave's relationship and how much it has developed over time.

Oh, this was a very sweet look into how the relationship between Greenweave and Newt has developed! And I love how it deals with heavy themes like grief and memory in such a peaceful way. It's a wonderful atmosphere - great piece!

I really like how this shows us the continuing echoes of Greenweave's loss of his wolf-friend, as well as how his relationship with Newt is evolving as Newt grows older. It reminds me of an idea expressed in EQ canon, about how childhood is brief, and then the child becomes an adult for a (hopefully) very long period of time, and the relationship between parent and child can evolve into that of friends. I like the idea of that happening here.

Thank you so much Suzanne. I really like seeing how easy Greenweave and Newt became over the time and how strong the bound is.
Also love how you build up an atmosphere. It seems so easy and syet heavy in some parts. Besides I just love to see how Newt matures and how yet it is still stunning to Greenweave how he isn't that small lost child anymore. Newt couldn't have had it better :)

Suzene, this is a beautiful picture of the relationship that's developed between Newt and Greenweave. Thank you for showing that to us!
