This is unbelievably gorgeous! All the characters are so graceful and look like they're posing for a photoshoot! This is the first time I really see Crackle as TALL! My heart really went out to her worried father! I know how long this must have taken you!! Amazing!!! My favorite panel was Notch and Rainpaces' looks on the last page!!! A cringe worthy sequel is coming, that's for sure!!

I just have to say that the whole comic is gorgeous! The colors, the expressions, the backgrounds... I don't have the words to describe how much I like them! Crackle seeking to prove herself was an interesting plot; I do wonder if she got punished for doing something like that - and if Blacksnake will allow her on the next big hunt.

Wooo! This is fantastic! I, too, am amazed by your tenacity to take on this project as well as, especially now that it's finished, your massive accomplishment with it. :) Believe me, this is far from "putting up with the newbie" -- I have a feeling you'll find your talents very, very much in demand (or at least, meek request! ;) ) around here! I love how the sending stars match the eye colors of the elves doing the sendings. this whole story is so wonderful, too, in how the plot and art mesh together so perfectly into such an entertaining comic! I reay do hope this is the first of many RTH comics for us to read! ^_^ I also like how you left the ending, with a satisfying end to the story but open for future events! This is great, I just can't say enough, and it was a very, very fun and rewarding read!

First of all, congrats on this massive undertaking! The only comic I ever drew was black and white and only seven pages, and afterwards I was glad it was over ;) You drew an intriguing story with so many supporting characters, it's impressive. It's so easy to write it in a "normal" fic, but it's SO much more work to draw all of it so it makes sense.I liked how it showed Crackle's stubbornness and how so many people in the tribe got involved. I wonder what Crackle's going to do with the hides of her very first big kill, and what Windburn's punishment will be. Maybe that's something for another comic? ;-)

This is some really great work. It must have taken a lot of effort, good job. I love how each panel flows smoothly into the next. I really love how this story ends, its really quite sweet. Good job!

I will come back to this one when it's all done, but let me just say now that I love watching this build up week by week. I always find it an odd experience to go from reading a webcomic with one-week breaks between installments, to reading it all at one go. I think when it's done, this is going to FEEL like a very different story, because right now, it feels kind of leisurely (in a nice way).

I also have a lot of respect for tackling such a project :)
I will comment here again when the story comes to a close to focus more on the story part then the art though and that I can do when it's done ^^

I love comics and it's impressive but I also want to give you my opinion about the story as a standalone when it's finished ^^

Sooo the project is finally finished and I have the time to give my two cent about the story itself ;) I will comment on the art of each page I didn't comment soon as well^^

As for the story: Lovely. Crackle is Crackle. At the beginning I feard she'd loose a bit of herself with her mind so set on the huntuing but it came across quickly that she really just wants to flex her muscles and be seen as an adult here- by doing exactly what won't give the Elders that impression. *snicker* That's such a teenage move and I think it really dose fir Crackle.

Loved the interaction between her and her father here and her determined will to prove herself. There's so much that isn't told in words but pictures that it's hard to point out certain things. The whole thing ion itself is just wonderfully told and drawn.

I also love the scene with the hunt. Whew Crackel dear that was a close one. It could have been the other way around all to easily. Personally I'd like to see what happened after this. Sure after Crackle recovered she'd have to listen to Windburn and maybe Blacksnake about the exact reasons why she's not as ready to be a hunter as she thinks she is - and maybe how she doesn't get it because she did make the kill- dammit!

So this is my attempt to get my bearings here at River Twine Holt. I'm trying to visualize the characters and holt life. This experience has been very helpful for my creative side and I'm enjoying it very much. Thanks for putting up with the newbie here!

Beth summed it up already. I adore this story! And it's so neat to see every moment illustrated! So much said in each panel... thank you for doing this! :) More!!!

This is amazing! I love that you've chosen to tackle a graphic-novel format! There are so many things I really enjoy visually here - Crackle's poses, the subdued colour tones in her outfit, Farscout's happy-dreamy look, and Evervale is just gorgeous in her panels. I just love this glimpse at Crackle trying to break into 'adult' life, and feel her pain, especially with her wolf being a riderless helper. Frustrating! Can't wait to see what comes next!!
