I think my favorite thing is, how when you think about it not a lot happens in this story, but there are so many little details, nuances of description and expression and thought that give it a delightfully rich feel. And then of course there's Copper and Foxtail, the unlikely pair - Foxtail's patience and even tenderness is fantastic in how it feels in-character the way it's woven into her inner monologue. And I really laughed out loud at the thought of Copper telling her parents that she beat Notch in a bet! Considering Copper, hell, you could almost believe it!

I really enjoyed this. I liked seeing Foxtail interact with one of the cubs, especially Copper. They seem like such an odd match for interactions its awesome. I love how timid Copper is in comparison to Foxtail's straight forward, almost blunt self. I really enjoyed this, and I'd love to see more of the two of them.

I like how Copper seems like such a timid woodland creature in this -- perhaps easily scared away, but Foxtail realizes just the right way to handle her. And it's good to see Foxtail dig down and discover the ability to relate to someone who isn't very much like herself.

That was such a sweet little story.I enjoyed the interaction here and how copper mostly expressed herself through body language.
Liked the contrast between her and Foxtail. And yeah that was a pair I wouldn't have thought of.
Besides this I was happy to see Copper being strange but deep down still a little girl that enjoys trinkets. And Yeah XD I would love to see her trying to teach Copper of all cubs to outsmart Notch.

LOL, whoever could've thought that Foxtail would teach Copper how to deal with Notch' bets? XD Loved reading how Foxtail just does her own business and how Copper moves closer and pulls away. She's like a curious fawn, isn't she? It was too sweet that Copper apparently decided she could trust Foxtail in the end by taking her hand. Nice job :)

:) I like the changes we're seeing in Foxtail! I like how tolerant she is here... and how willing to adjust to the Copper's needs and way of thinking than to just forge ahead her own way. And the ending... priceless!

Aww, that was cute. I love seeing that Foxtail does not shy away from trying to interact with Copper though she's not a cub person and Copper is a bit strange. And it's great that Copper is very much herself and nevertheless is just as curious and loves pretty things as much as any other cub!
