I liked the bittersweet moment Windsong had when thinking about Crackle and Sweetvine/Evervale... Everyone has to grow up it seems, and it shows in Rainpace. Also bittersweet that he outgrew Notch (truly) and not the other way around.

Ahaha, just in case anyone was under the delusion that elf cubs are all fluffy fun XD. But this ended on the loveliest note, not just with Glow sleeping but also Rainpace's and Windsong's silent understanding. I enjoyed how this story touched on a variety of changing relationships, Rainpace and Chicroy's adjusting, Rainpace's new father experience, and him and Windsong whom we haven't seen together much - makes for a compelling little snapshot.

Aw, I hope to see more of the friendship between these two in the future! They seem to go well together! Also, I always love getting to see Rainpace when he was adjusting to being a dad.

I love getting to see tribemates interact whom we haven't really seen together before. It's particularly nice to see Windsong with a friendly attachment to someone besides her immediate family. Given her name and Rainpace's known musical interests, their friendship seems natural in retrospect; but it's great to see it shown to us.

This is a pairing that we haven't seen yet, and I really liked seeing them together! It's nice to see Rainpace getting some insight into the problems I'm sure a lot of new dads face :)

It's nice to see the interaction between various tribe members like Windsong and Rainpace. I like the little details like Glow's red face and Rainpace's daylight habits. It's great to see those things incorporated. I suspect Glow will be a handful later!

What a darling, sweet story. It reads like a lovely little snapshot to show exactly the kind of things new parents face... and how lucky Rainpace is to have a friend like Windsong to lend a voice!

This story is so heartwarming! I'm very grateful that you wrote it, and I have great fun collaborating with you! You captured the budding friendship between Rainpace and Windsong perfectly and it was a great idea to make Glow build the bridge between them. Also, I love the way you write - it's got a very nice flow. :)

Aww, very cute! Lovely interaction :). I really liked how music was bringing together the two of them - and how it managed to soothe even Glow though nothing else had helped! Poor parents, they will have a lot of fun with that strong set of lungs on their daughter, I think!

That was really cute. Poor parents XD Glow seems to have a good set of lungs right from the start. Like the interaction here between these two elves. Music seems to be a powerful bound maker.
