Axehand is such a responsible Father and lifemate, I love seeing it. I also love that Tallow managed to share such a big milestone with him even at such a great distance, lovely.

Sendings are better than Skype it seems XD Really clever way to show both the family interaction and the way in which the elves use sendings, other than just getting warnings out to each other. A really sweet moment.

I love it, I love it, I love it! Off-the-charts cuteness! ^_^ I really love Tallow's stubborness in making that sending connection work, and it was really fascinating how the senses were limited in that send. All the while, you managed to make little Flash come out as an adorable, realistic little baby as well! I'm sooooo glad he got to see it in the Now, instead of as a memory -- even if it would have been the same images through sending, the difference is enormous.

Really cool use here of the elves ability to send, and the ways it could be used to keep a family close together even when they're apart. It was great that Axehand didn't have to miss that special moment, even though he was far away.

I generally like all the Axehand/One-Leg and Flash' fics, but this one nearly brought tears to my eyes. It's wonderful that Axehand got to experience his baby's first steps without being there. As Mareike says, sending is a major advantage elves have over humans! :) I love how you wrote the scene so vividly, and the pride in the last sentence nearly beamed off the screen. Awesome :)

Aw, I love to see Axehand as such a proud papa. I'm glad he didn't have to miss his cub's first steps, even though distance-wise he was so far away.

It's so sweet that this special moment could be shared! You did a nice job with the description, and creating the feel of sending that was more than just images.

Oh my goodness, Chris this was just heartwarming. I .. am at a lost of words. All this felt so deep and full and warm. The whole atmosphere just is joy and pride.
I couldn't add anything more then what has been said. It's so lovely to see One-Leg as a father.

I think I told you this already but this had me in tears! You are amazing with description and with pulling at a readers emotional heartstrings! It's so touching that they could share this moment together.

Oh, this is just so, so wonderful! I've been going through Chris-fic-withdrawals, so this lovely snapshot just hits the spot! You manage to do so much in a minimum of words, you make each one count with an ease I envy! And each fresh window into One-Leg's experiences and character are just a gift. Love this one! (And I'm going to have to borrow "moon-drunk", that is a great one!)

Aww, that is too cute! Little Flash is precious, and it's so great to see that Tallow shared it with Axehand despite him not being there :). Elves really have an advantage in that aspect, with the ability to share pictures and feelings in sending - us puny humans could only share a shadow of it in our words.
