I'm loving the deeper theme woven in all these Willow stories ~ Consent, and Never Assume! That must be the toughest part of the healing profession, even with our doctors. They see what's best/"best" but the final decision comes from the patient.

This is really wonderful piece for understanding Rainpace. I really like how he shows his concern for Willow, and the emotional healing between the two of them is especially beautiful.

What a sweet reunion! After all Willow's been through, a look at the way one of Rainpace suffered with her and how they finally got to talk about it was very enjoyable and interesting. By the end, I was smiling at the talk about Rainpace's scars; it felt quite cathartic.

I really like the sense of an understanding achieved here in a quiet and low-key way, centered around something small but important that is emblematic of a much larger issue. And I liked how learning about how Rainpace views his scars tells us something important about the way he sees himself in relation to his friends; that was very telling, as well.

Oh, I love seeing Rainpace and Willow interact and address the things gone wrong between them lately. For some reason I especially like that it shows Rainpace always had this protective streak to him, and it didn't come out of nowhere with Chicory and Glow lately. And it's great to see more about him in general. Plus, I really like seeing that Willow really had matured! Good that they were able to heal some of the scars between them :).

Oh I love this one, Heidi. I really enjoy seeing more f Rainpace, too and in this he seems the best that cold have happen to Willow.
I love all the details and how their friendship is explored here through the scars. That was a pretty nice image as well. Just flipping love it.
Also VERY nice to see what had changed in Willow. Seems to b so little but it makes a huge impact here. The way she seemed to have matured. Very nicely done.

And just glad to see such a topic like words can hurt in a friendship too. Just lovely.

The more often I read this story the more and more I like it. Thanks for the very nice portrait of their friendship and for giving Rainpace`s personality more depht with that.
I love the interaction between the two elves, the changing emotions. You have a talent to make the reader feel these.

I'm glad to see Rainpace and Willow mending their friendship - especially when the scars between them were so subtle, but so strong. Great writing!

Nice! I really enjoy seeing another example of how Rainpace is the steady one in this friendship-set. Nice, too, to see Rainpace's facial scarring addressed now that the healer is active with her talent. I'm looking forward to seeing Willow on the other side of this whole story arc. What a trip it's been!
