Oh, the frustration of your kid causing trouble, and you've been literally watching them the whole time!! Very good depiction of a tot here! Can barely communicate, causes trouble and you CAN'T get mad at her!!

Beetle is SUCH a little kid, here! I really like the sense at the end that she's very much her mother's daughter in some ways, too.

Aww, too cute! Laughter is absolutely adorable - poor Cloudfern, though! He doesn't stand a chance against two women. I liked that he didn't think of looking if Laughter had the beads - I think we all know that effect of "Why didn't I look there in the first place?!". And I also loved seeing Starskimmer and Cloudfern interact - I agree with Mel, it gives off more a friendship vibe.

I can definitely see where Laughter got her name - quite the little prankster and with a mother to match! Poor Cloudfern never stood a chance. I recognize myself in how he searched for the beads without looking in the most logical place first, very amusing!

Adorable! It's fun to see the parenthood duties shared by Cloudfern and Starskimmer here, and little Beetle is just the cat's meow here -- if she got any cuter, I'd go into overload. Great work!

Oh my goodness, this was just to precious. Little Laughter was just to cute and I could see her smiling all the time and laughing. And it was also nice to see her curious nature was always a part of her, Very very sweet. And I just loved to see Cloudfern and Starskimmer sharing the parenting duty.

Poor guy through XD To have to put up with two so smart and mischievousness ladies.

Another note.. I like it how you sense more of a friendship between the recognized here then a lovemating. It really stood out to me aside from the cuteness.

Oh that was almost *painfully* cute. I just whizzed through it with a big stupid smile on my face, practically hearing the laugh of that little elf girl. Now I feel like I have to run find something to hug!

*snicker* I hate it when my beads go missing. Just wait 'til the child is a young teen. You won't be able to find anything of value 'cause she has it! Nice feel to the story line. Very warm and charming.

Very sweet! Nice to see Starskimmer and Cloudfern as parents of a little cub.
