I can't believe I haven't commented on this one yet! The thing I like about this story, and other stories we've written about True Edge and Kestrel, is that they are both so different in personality but have enough experience and maturity to accept each other and make it work despite that. This one, in particular, gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling at the end :)

I really like seeing how this delineates the differences between these two, and how it shows both of them growing (even though they are both old enough to be set in their ways!). It almost seems like both might be correcting mistakes here that they may have made in the past. It reminds me of another story and how Kestrel wanted Boar to behave differently, or value things differently, than he did, but how that didn't help her, or them as a couple. Here, it is nice to see her realizing more quickly to accept their differences -- but it's also nice to see True Edge refrain from becoming irritated with her demands. They're both trying, and it's good to see it working.

What was worse, at least from True Edge’s perspective, was that he had started to dread such disagreements and usually felt badly for them.

Loved that line and the paragraph to follow. I like the character development happening here! Great writing.

"The world is more than what you can hold in your hands, True Edge."

=

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

This literary reference, whether intended or not, was just so delicious nestled in this lovely love story like an Eater egg. Well done, good sir, well done!

Awww this was so sweet. <3
I like this bound between them. They seem so very down to earth and I always had a soft spot for these kind of relationships. I'm not so much for the overly romantic way, but this kind of romance on daily base.
I really like to see how TE can appreciate the creative imagination of his mates. They really seem to complete each other :)

Aww, this is sweet! I like a lot that True Edge did not try to strain his imagination like Kestrel wanted him to but instead managed to impart to her that a different view does not have to be a bad thing ^^. Both sides have their right of existence!

And I just love seeing True Edge and Kestrel bond :D!
