What an imagination Cackle (and our writers) has! Great story and loved the addition of Notch at the end + how Crackle tends to end up believinc her own made up stories, at least partially.

Joan, I so miss your fics! Crackle's story-telling here is just flat-out creepy, and you have such a marvelous hand with dialogue, as well as with building a mood. Great stuff!

I love how detailed this story is. Crackle's stories just keep getting a little bit more believable as she grows older. I wish I had her story telling ability. Though I have to love Notch's hand in this, scaring her over her own story!

Great job with this, Lyn! You really came up with an appropriately twisted horror story very much in the Crackle mode. But I really liked Notch getting the better of her in the end, just a bit.

That was quite an interesting story...I wonder if Crackle came up with it on the spot, or if she had been thinking it up for awhile. I wonder what Newt and Fadestar's reactions were as she was telling the story XD Also, I love how Notch turned the tables on Crackle at the end.

:) Thanks for letting me write this, Joan (when you owned Crackle). :) Definitely a twist on a campfire horror story I heard as a kid.

Yay! Another horror story, Crackle style! This one is a real gem. I always marvel at your ability to evoke the fable-like quality of a campfire story or a well-told bedtime yarn. You really have a knack for that lilting, cautionary cadence to your writing, and this one was no slacker. Very well crafted, and very, very creepy!

that was a nice little horror story Crackle came up with ^^ A classic one ^^. Very nice :D
I also like how it shows Crackels's talent to scare herself ^^
Still I'm curious what the other cubs might have told :P

Hahah! Oh, that's great!
Wonderful story, nice and suspenseful and really believable as a Crackle-story. I love the twist with Notch!! He was great! And it really makes me think that Crackle'll be able to hold her own against him soon and make for some really fun interactions. *grins*
