I love how creative the elves are! First Rainpace's music, now Beetle's wolf friends... They should be lawyers, they're so good at finding loop holes!

I love how creative beetle can be. Thinking of getting Willow's wolf friend to help, brilliant!

I like how Beetle's cleverness came up with a roundabout way to help, that wouldn't break the rules. And it's especially interesting in light of the later story we got about Beetle's own experiences during her own shunning; clearly, her actions in this story are the result of her learning things in that one.

This was a story where the balance was delicate... Beetle wanting to obey her chief, and help her lovemate. Shunnings are hard on both the shunned and the tribe... I hope others will explore the impact of the shunnings on their characters, too! :)

Willow and Beetle's lovemating makes me so happy to read about, even when they're going through a rough time. Beetle's silent support and care for Willow during her shunning was touching and felt very loving.

Gotta start off the comment with a bit of criticism - it's very nice to see Beetle be curious and her scientific self but here I felt it was a bit too forced and disjointed with the rest of the story ... It felt as if you just needed a reason for her to be out in the storm so she could see Willow ^^'.

But apart from that: I was so glad that Willow was not alone during her shunning but that Beetle kept watch over her a bit! Good that Beetle found a way to help her lovemate without breaking Windburn's order! And I also liked seeing Rooter again - she's such a characteristic wolf :p.

It's nice to see how you use almost every story to show us not only a inside of Beetle herself but her way to care for those close to her :)
It is very tricky to see her wanting to warm Willow so badly and yet her respect for Windburn and his order. It's nice to see how she can come up with a way to help though :D

I have been a big fan of this relationship every since it started. Willow and Beetle seem sooo good together. Leave it to Beetle to find a creative way to help her without getting on the chiefs bad side.

Poor Willow. It's good to see Beetle's caring nature finding ways to get around the shunning. It must have been so hard on both of them. I like the questions that Beetle raises about the skyfire, I think that was a perfect touch to bring in her scientific-minded nature!
