Was Foxtail coming on to him?? "What do you have there? Nuts?" made my dirty mind laugh!! Even Pathmark was all "What the...???" ;) :D

Foxtail being responsible... whaaaat? Now thats just confusing. haha! No, but seriously, it was nice to see Pathmark's opinion change a bit about Foxtail. Though I have to say I wish I'd see them have a bit of fun before he left for his own den, after all she did help him out with the rabbits. ;)

I love seeing stories from Pathmark's point of view...he's such a sweet, trusting guy and we really do need to see more of him. As others have commented, I do have to wonder if Foxtail's up to something more...

I love how the events surrounding this story have planted sufficient doubt in the reader's mind as to Foxtail's true intentions. On the one hand, yes, it is interesting and refreshing to see Foxtail taking on some responsibility... but is it only superficial? Kudos on keeping a reader guessing ;)

Responsible Foxtail = <3

On a more coherent note, seeing Pathmark's view of Foxtail's change was interesting and I recognized myself a little in Foxtail as he hesitated in trusting her - I was a horrible loser when I was a kid and even to this day people who've known me since back then expect me to blow a fuse over losing, even though I don't care any more. So changing yourself is often easier than actually convincing others you have changed :)

Like others, I felt it was nice to get to see Foxtail becoming more responsible here... but I had to wonder whether it was just that, or something more. ;-) She's fairly lucky that the elf who came across her was Pathmark, given how prone he is to think well of others.

Fantastic story! I loved the interaction between Pathmark and Foxtail - so tender, and your writing didn't make it feel out of place at all, even if it was a bit unexpected! Very sweet read. :)

WHAT, exactly, is Foxtail up to??? ;) I like the IDEA that she's growing and changing, but I'll wager that there's more to it than just wanting to be a bit more useful for a change... :) :) Great writing!

It's nice to see some stories from Pathmark's perspective. He's been too neglected. It's also good to see Foxtail's shift in personality as she starts taking on more responsibility, especially through the eyes of someone other than her usual cohorts.

Oh, that was a really nice insight in the changes in Foxtail! I really liked seeing that through Pathmark's eyes - he's such a nice guy, I guess some others would have been way more sceptical or mean about it. And it's great to see that she still does struggle a bit with her new sense of responsibility when it's boring or tedious, it makes it very realistic.

What I nice insight into a normal day of holt life.
Most of all I like this story as one of many examples for the elves` natural physical interaction with whomever comes across their way. Well, it`s in the nature of some elves more than others. Foxtail does have a bit of Jink in her, doesn`t she? ;)

I like how this one shows Foxtail growing on her task and new sense of responsibility. It's nice to see that she dose it and still you have the feeling it's not her favorite thing to spent her time with XD ... Reminds me in some parts in my former job. Sucks but someone has to do it!

I also like the interaction and how Pathmark thinks what I guess all would think in a way. Even if he might looks at it in a much softer way :)

Again very nice done :D
