"Slightly used baby chief" was the best line!! Foxtail is such a cub herself deep down. And this shows tremendously when she drifts off to sleep beside him!

Such a sweet story! I love the way Foxtail's relationship with Cinder has evolved and changed from the beginning - certainly not sibling love at first sight!

This is so different from the Foxtail we get to know later on... although one can see that she has a hard time not to fall for her brother's baby charme. Lovely story. I could see little Cinder in all his cuteness right before my eyes.
And, seriously, this description made me laugh: "slightly used baby-chief" for exchange!. Hilarious! :D

Gah, *babies*. Can't stand them, can't help but love them. With two sisters under me, Foxtail's back and forth with Cinder here rings ever so true, even her surrender in the end - because you really can't stay angry at that bundle that you describe well enough to be endearing even when he's covering her in spit.

And of course, reading it from the perspective of later events is absolutely heartbreaking. Foxtail goes such a distance, but at such a price...

Hah! Apparently even Foxtail isn't proof against a baby being charming! It's nice to see the two siblings here being given space to develop a relationship of their own. I had to laugh that Foxtail remains a bit wary of Cinder (after getting pee-ed on the first time), and that he continues to subject her to matter-of-fact indignities. She's learning, though. ;-)

I thought this was really sweet -- this was a really interesting look at this brother-sister relationship, and I'm interested to see how it's going to evolve over the years, given what we've seen of FT's opinions before!

I loved this. FT is going to be a great big sister, despite herself! :)

This really is sweet. I like seeing Foxtail begin to like the kid in spite of herself. And the image at the end of him falling asleep tangled in her hair and the two of them drifting off together is really beyond the pale :)It would be a fun image to draw.

Very simple and sweet. I like.

Aww.. that was adorable. Honestly the more I read from you the more I like your style. I like this sibling dynamic a lot. Foxtail's gruffness and Cinder's sun mood here completely unaware of her anger toward him :D
And yeah I like how it shows Foxtail can't really resist him. Cinder is just as too cute button XD
I can't wait to see how this will go on with the two of them :)

Aww, this was very sweet! I'm so glad that Foxtail is not able to hold the grudge against her brother :). After all it's not his fault ...
And how he put his fist in her mouth made me laugh XD! So cute!
