This story was so great because Beetle is "not good with cubs", you have the backstory tension between Cloudfern and Willow, AND you introduce Newt's personality (The Therapist)! I really enjoyed reading this!

This is such an adorable story for the two elves! I love seeing Newt just pop up and make _sure_ that Beetle's going to act like his sister. He gets to showcase his cuddle-cub side, and keep another secret, and also shows a bit of delicate understanding in both relationships and how to distract Beetle from her current sadness. :D

Oh, Newt is a clever one. By giving Beetle something to experiment with he instantly got a place in her heart.
It's good to see how Newt tries to make a connection to his new tribe members after his unwrapping. Such a bave, little boy

I'm so glad Newt is such a sweetheart! :) Also glad he has some use for his older "sister" :) and wanted her help (instead of Cloudfern's!). :)

This almost gave me diabetes (in a good way!). Newt and Beetle both are such sweet, humble people, always worrying about others. The first sparks of a brother-sister bond here are very heartwarming - it's good to see them meet someone similar to themselves and helping support each other.

That was such a sweet scene! I like that newt reaches out to Beetle and reminds her that she's his sister now. But poor Beetle, it's such a hard situation she is in, standing between her father and her lovemate ... It's good she was able to confide in Newt, at least. I hope to see more of the relationship between them in the future!

Yay, good to see that connection made! It would be easy to kind of forget that they are adoptive siblings, with Beetle being her own adult -- but I'm glad that Newt wants to make the connection, and Beetle wants to reach back.

I really liked this. Neat to see Newt reaching out like this, and it's also a nice foreshadowing of a potential new friendship :)

Aww, this is too sweet for words. It's so great to see a relationship developing between these two.

This is too sweet! But there's also that solemn ache within, like a knot. I have every faith, however, that Newt will do his best to help his new "sister" unravel that tangled problem.

Oh, I just cannot get enough of sibling stories. This made me miss my own brother and sister so much. I really am falling in love with Newt, he is just such a perfect child. I am eager to see more of his relationships with his step siblings.

Yeah! Thanks so much Lyn :) I really think this is a very cute story. I like to see Newt in his role as secretkeeper again and being just there for Beetle as much as she's there for him. Thank you so much!

It's nice to see them starting to bound :D
