This is a really cute story, their relationship seems to relaxed on a whole. I really love it, and I love that they both talk over their issues from the past to help it from happening again.

Ooooh, I really liked this one a lot! Wow, Axehand's ego is truly an awe-inspiring thing, LOL. I read his question on what she was congratulating him on to my mom, and we both burst out laughing! ;) Good thing Doeskin was fiesty enough to handle him (and his ego)! Their banter was really cute in a romantic way, as I'm sure you intended, and deliciously balanced. I love how they each scored good points on the other without either one crumbling or having to step back and apologize for going too far. And the last couple of lines, of course, were especially hilarious. A truly fun read!

These two are such an interesting couple - makes me wish Doeskin was still around. Even if they were somewhat argumentative, it's obvious that she made Axehand/One-Leg quite happy.

What a vivid description of two lovers. They are such an oppositional (conflictive?) couple! Really like to see those two together.

Such an interesting couple! I like lovemates that aren't always the best of friends - when you live that close to someone you're bound to get on each other's nerves eventually, even more so if your personalities clash. This was well handled and shows that elves don't all have instant perfect relationships any more than humans do. You've got to work for happiness!

I really love that you are continuing to develop these guys as a couple, even though it's all in the past. This story has done such a fantastic job of giving Doeskin a personality that at last makes it feel like she really was a complement to Axehand. I want to see more of them, and this really makes me sad that she's no longer with us.

I said this to you before... this was so much fun to read! I love the playfulness of the story, and how well Doeskin and One-Leg work together. No wonder he was devastated when she died. Thank you for this piece of background.

Loved seeing this earlier relationship, and how they got back together, if even for a while. Did they return to their lovemating as I believe they had before?

Chris, you never seize to amaze me with One-Leg's colorful vocabularly. And I love seeing how Doeskin seemed to be a perfect match for him :)

Nice depiction of these elves' relationship here, Chris. It's a neat look into OL's past.

Oh boy XD I'm surprised there was enough room for Doeskin next to Axehand's Ego :P
The two of them made an very interesting couple. Too bad Doeskin is gone. I would like to see more of them. I always had a weak spot for couples that could fight and were a little imperfect :D . I love the playfulness of Doeskin here :)

What a fun story! I really like the sense we get here that Doeskin is just as strong as Axehand and knows how to play him. (Wow, Axehand, you sure don't have any self-confidence deficiencies, eh?)

I wager they lasted a bit longer than a month this time :p?
