This is a cute look at the two friends. It was a cute little back and forth. I can really understand how Reed feels, not having a wolf friend yet and seeing someone younger then him having one. I like how his friend explains what he sees for his friend, trying to comfort him. I love how easy and willing he is to share his wolf friend with Reed.

Awww, this was so adorable! Also sad, given these two elves' short lives. =( I found Magpie's comment about Reed bonding both interesting and poignant, given the info in Reed's CIS. I loved how immediate this story was, two cubs dealing with the right-now of life and promise of the future with no hint in this story of their future tragedy.

This is a very interesting story. On one level, it's about friends getting over the jealousy between them. But something about the way it's written almost makes me think it could also be more of an allegory, not relating to the specific characters, but of the conflict between the wolf heritage and the elf heritage.

Aww, such a cute look at the friendship of these two. It's obvious they can't stay mad at each other for long. I, too, want to know if Reed ever got a wolf-friend...I really hope so :)

This is a really sweet look at these two. I'm sure it's certainly hard on youngsters when they think they don't have the same things their friends have. I like the solution they came up with :)

I like the style of the story being told mostly through dialogue (well, sending-dialogue). That empathized on how private this conversation between the two friends was - I felt like I was observing something that was between just the two of them.

What a lovely look at these two friends! And how sad to know that they didn't get to grow up any further than this. Very poignant.

Awww... this is such a great look at friends and how they can have a disagreement and work it out. How it's okay for them to have those moments of jealousy... or of feeling sorry for oneself. It's so sad that Magpie died early... I want to know if he ever got his wolf friend.

That's incredible cute Arthur. I like the glimpse in the past a lot. It almost makes me sad that Magpie died so young. I like the friendship you created here and how it worked out in the end.

*snickers* My impression was at the beginning that Reed is jealousy on the wolf. Very cute ^^
