It's good to see Fadestar getting to talk about her conflicting emotions and to see Kestrel being so understanding. Some good at least came from Fletcher's death.

It's great to see these two sisters connecting! Lovely story, I think you two handled Fadestar's questioning and Kestrel's comforting very well!

I already told you that this story was a very good addition. It's nice to see Fadestar growing a bit and snapping out of her own world and looking further.
I can imagine that it was hard on her to wake up and realize - again- her father was gone. I like this deep look into her and I agree, I like it that she's rebounding with her sister ^^

As I said before, I am so glad that you decided to do a story about these two. It's such a sad thing that Fadestar had to go through what she did at such a young age, but it looks like she's finally starting to trust her sister again. Also, that last line...that's definitely a tearjerker :P Wonderful job.

You know -- given that the elves know in a kind of factual way that the spirits of their dead live on in a kind of afterlife (even if our living elves can only speculate on what that afterlife is LIKE), and they know that death will reunite them, wrestling with this issue makes a lot of sense. It's especially poignant to see a child wrestle with it! Good job.

Oh... this makes me so sad for Fadestar... and for Kestrel, too! I appreciate your thoughtfulness in considering all that Fadestar and others might be experiencing through this! Those feelings are valid, and I think tricky to explore. Great job.
