Nightstorm and Fadestar are like Yin and Yang. Seemingly opposites, but they actually have a few small things in which they are alike. Fadestar DOES have a little spark in her and Nightstorm IS a little sensitive. Just add sewing!

I was hoping someone would lure Fadestar out of her shell and Nightstorm did everything right! Not pushing the cub was good, but letting her sit around and stare at walls all night can only do good for so long. Very sweet.

Great story! Such a simple task, and it's great that it brings Nightstorm and Fadestar together like this. It's also so nice to be able to have a story to put with the flowers on Fadestar's clothes!

Great use of a character we read so little about... I like her approach w/ Fadestar and how she's not so inclined to be sensitive to the child - it actually worked, Nightstorm's "I'm not leaving" approach. Great writing! Hope to see more of this pairing.

Sometimes it really does take an elf who doesn't know the meaning of the word "no". :) Poor Fadestar is so shell-shocked and trapped in her head that you can't help but want to cuddle her up here. Then in comes Nightstorm, just like the fresh breeze the cub needed.

YAY! It's always wonderful to see more of Nightstorm in fic, and I love that you're exploring her relationship with Fadestar. Great job!

I like that Nightstorm gets some story time here, and I'm really glad to see that she helped pull Fadestar out of that funk :)

Really good use of Nightstorm, here -- I like her no-nonsense approach. :) And I also liked the link between Fadestar having been good at sewing before, and remembering that's what her father did.

Oh you did well Linda. I love the interaction between Nightstorm and Fadestar here. Such a simple thing but oh so effective. ^_^Keep them busy and they will blossom. I really like this one and I am happy it's finally up :)
What I like the best is that I really can see the whole scene before my inner eye :)

Poor Fadestar! I'm really glad that Nightstorm managed to pull her out of her funk a bit and that Fadestar found a trade in the process :).
Nice to see Nightstorm get some story time, too!
