I am all with Sofia here, those lines made me laugh, too. I guess, I have already told you this, Chris, but One-Leg in your hands, in your storys is just hilariously tactless and total fun to read!
However, the best thing about these little sequels was, they had me from laughing to almost crying. The transition from good, old, laughing out loud One-Leg humor at the beginning, to "oh, how cute", to "he he", to "how sad a thought" was marvelous! Very, very well done!

“If you ever feel like celebrating something, my furs’ll be waiting for you. Bring a friend.”
The 'bring a friend' part had be in stitches. And seeing One-Leg interact with all the unwrapped, as well as come to such a realisation about his own choice of cutting his leg off, was both touching and fun.

I enjoy this story each time I read it. One-Leg is such a positive influence on those around him. I appreciate how insightful he is... even if he doesn't always show it to others. I thought it was hilarious that he woudl have said something *different* to Newt had Newt been a little older... lol. :) And his realization of what it would have been like for him to have missed so much... what a great realization!

I loved seeing One-Leg with all the unwrapped elves, especially Fadestar - that was really cute with the puppets. This is a great way to show your character's reactions and involvement without having to write four long stories. He makes a VERY good point to Honey that she should listen to. At least her lovemate is alive. It's mind-bending to go through the what-if's with him in the last part. He's thanking his lucky stars.

Great set of snapshots, here, and a great set of insights as well -- both One-Leg's insights about each of the wrapstuffed elves, and what they may need now that they are among the tribe again, and the insights gained into One-Leg himself. The ending is a cool what-if prompt for the reader, too; to think about how different things would be if Axehand HAD been one of the sleepers, and was just waking up now -- wow!

Yay, One-Leg! I love him, especially for such gems as his last line to Honey and 'the missing weight has to go somewhere' ^_^.
That aside, I very much liked seeing One-Leg's thoughts and reactions to the unwrapped elves and Fletcher's death. It's true, you don't think much of it but One-Leg could have easily been one of the sleepers ... It was very touching how he thought of the tribe he might not have known :).

One-Leg is such a wonderful Weeble! I love these snapshots at him during different times, and how he's remained such an aggressively positive influence.
("The missing weight had to go somewhere..." oh man, so perfect! I howled when I first read that...)

I really loved to see how One-Leg responded to all of the elves; he had different ways to approach all three of them. Happy to hear Fadestar laugh again, btw ;) She's been a quiet, silent one in my household :P

I think that's a very good story. It truly made me think about some things and I like how One-Leg is viewing it all in the summery of his life.
It's really nice to see how he get in contact with every single elf that has been unwrapped. And you made me laugh with the last line he said to Honey XD
Like I told you before I am very happy you used my picture for this and wrapped a bit of story around it :)
