That look in Thornbow's eyes speak volumes here! Fits perfectly with the scene in the story - I can feel his pain and despair. And Honey looks just as distraught and in her own world as she was in the story. Wonderful picture!

I remember reading this story and thinking what a sweet connections these siblings have and this illustration captures that perfectly. The thing that appeals to me most is Thornbow's eyes. So sincere and comforting while carrying a little bit of angst over his sister's heartbreak.
