Well done. I love maps, they are so useful. This one included. I especially like the fact that you included the length of one night's wolf ride.

I was always drawn to maps for fantasy worlds, from a very young age. I love maps anyway; I can amuse myself for hours just staring at them. But I LOVED the fantasy books that came with maps in the front or back; in fact I was really impatient with those books that did not give you a map, because I found it really important to helping imagine the world.

The style of the mountains and hills on this map are based on the way Karen Wynn Fonstad did them for her "Maps of Pern" book, which I obtained and obsessed over from an early age.

I LOVE having maps like this (Heaven knows I still want one for my holt but I just don't get around to do it and quite frankly don't dare it...)

This is so helpful in imagining the territory of the elves better. and to know where all the hills and lakes and rivers are and what their names are is helpful as well :)

The coloring is glorious. I liked the black & white versions posted on the MB but the the colored version leaves that in the dust. This map makes it easier to picture and imagine just what this world our elves live in is like.

Holly, you already know how much we appreciated your taking on this project. It came out so wonderfully! This really is a map a person would love to print out and put on the wall. The colors are just lovely, and everything just pops. Thanks again for all the work you put in on this!

Holly, how on earth can words express how amazing this is? You are a rare talent! This is going to help so much with writing. It helps to make the world more real. I honestly can not think of a single thing about the Holt that this quality of a map doesn't help. You are a jewel! I can't imagine what the zoom ins will be like...as if this wasn't stunning enough!

::swooning:: This is utterly jaw-dropping wonderful! Not only is it an excellent map, it's gorgeous ART too! Beautiful beautiful beautiful! And now to tackle rewriting conflicting bits in my posted stories, before this map sparks new story ideas to distract me...
