Her face is really, really striking here. I like the mature look on her and still it's kinda sultry just in a very... well mature way. This is a women not every man can handle but those who can are rewarded with a very unique partner.
I like how the inking gives this a feel of movement as well and her figure is great. The flow of the dress is a nice contrast to the chair she's sitting on.
I honestly have no idea what these books are about but seems as a standalone piece it's niiiice.

I just adore the look in her eye. So fitting to that series (if I am remembering the arrogance of those characters correctly) and the mind warriors of that world.
But my favorite thing about this piece is how you have managed to make the foreshortening seem easy and true. Always hard for human proportions- more so- (I think)for elves.

I haven't read the books, but just going off of the picture it's a really neat piece! I love her pose and the inked style of this, as well as the shape and design of the chair!

Those are not McCaffrey books I've acquainted myself with, but I'm still loving this AU art. I particularly like her face here, and that expression. She loves so wise (and powerful as well). This leaves me wanting to see Starskimmer in a Laura Roslin outfit now!

Oh my! It's been so many years since I read those books! This is a pure blast from the past! I love Starskimmer's regal look here. I'm particularly taken with her face and hair.
