I like that Thornbow is calm and happy in this story. Sometimes he appears as cranky or a little tormented in others. Glad he has his bows!!

These two are two of our elves I so far haven't seen interact much. It was nice, the sort of quiet understanding between them, which I guess is only logical since they've known each other for so long. Sometimes I forget who old elves can get and that they've only got each other for company. Not exactly a stream of new faces coming in from the 'elf village next door'.

Very lovely short story. I really liked Pathmark's carrying pouch full of sand for smoothing. Also, this was quite a nice look at Thornbow's craftsmanship, the careful way he's going about his carving. And of course, never satisfied with the last finished project! :D

Lovely Such a quite atmosphere. I also love the glimpse on Thornbow. He's such a fascinating character. Nice look at them. Very telling. Thornbow seems to be a very patient person.

This piece was beautiful in its brevity! I enjoyed seeing the interaction of characters I don't normally put together in my mind. :) (Miss you, Beth!)

It's really nice to see the interaction between these two characters, and it's a nice bit of insight into each of them, as well! (You know we miss you, Beth!)

I like the quiet sense of camaraderie here, and also how it's an astute explanation of Thornbow's outlook.
