Chicory's cheeks are so pinchable... it illustrates how young she is here. I love that she and Easysinger have this moment together. It's serene and comforting.

This pic has a very cozy and warm feeling. So good to see these two together.
Great job on the lighting, too. This is always the most difficult part, in my opinion.

I love this! Thanks so much for drawing it for me. :) And yay, finally I get to see Chicory and Easysinger together in art! ^_^ I agree on how well the lighting is done here. I really love aall the contrasts, like the shine off of Easysinger's hair from the candle glow, and the shadows along the den walls. I absolutely love that ball of twine, too! And like I said, I love how you draw den entrances, and you definitely delivered on that with this picture, too! :D their expressions are wonderful. So soft and quiet in a relaxed, rainy-day way. No wonder Chicory misses her mom so much, when she can make a bad-weather day turn into a fun one! :D

I love this little domestic scene. Easysinger is such a good Mom, playing "making bead jewelry" with her little girl to help a rainy day pass more quickly! I especially like how the elements of the den frame the piece, emphasizing the coziness of the den.

This is lovely. It just hit me, but I never really brought Chicory and Easysinger tiogether in my head. I mean I know there were mother and daughter and we had stories dealing with Chicory coping with her loss, but I think this is the first time I see them interact.
The light in this is very well handelt and I do really like Easysinger's expression here. She looks kinda soft and patient while seemingly explaining something to her daughter. This moment in itself has such a tender, comforting to it. I don't know why but such pieces really speak to me at the moment.
I like the touch of Easysinger wearing one of the colorful brachelets as well, even if that clashes with the rest of her wardrobe, while it suits Chicory and her childlike self here so very well.

And colors is a good point. The colors in this are done so well. Like said. The lighting as well, but the rest doesn't stay behind. The colors inside are a nice contrast to the hinted at grey, rainy day outside :)
